Philippians 4:6–7 — “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4 doesn’t say “don’t be anxious” and leave us there. It gives us a path: In every situation (not just the big ones) Pray (talk to God honestly) Ask (present your requests) Thank (remember His faithfulness) Then comes the promise: God’s peace will guard your heart and mind – like protection at the door of your thoughts.
Try this simple practice once a day this week (2 minutes): What’s one worry I’m carrying right now? (Name it.) What’s one request I can bring to God about it? (Ask.) What’s one thing I can thank Him for today? (Thank.)
